The Research & Innovation Financing Department, situated in both Lyon & Paris, has 15 years experience in R&D project management, both at national and international level.

ALMA Consulting Group’s recognised expertise in the management of collaborative projects includes day-to-day operational project management. ALMA Consulting Group, thanks to its many  collaborations with R&D consortia, has developed specific & original knowledge & methodologies in partnership management to support them efficiently in the full achievement of their objectives.

The Innovation Department consists of 340 employees (consultants & administrators) all with engineer and/or PhD background associated with complementary training, for example in budget & project management or technology transfer.

Role/activity of organisation in the project

Under the responsibility of the Coordinator, ALMA will lead the contract management activities, supporting both the General Assembly and each individual partner.

ALMA will be responsible for the following:

  • Respect of the contractual issues (including an advisory role on the relationship between the consortium and the EC)
  • Management of the consortium agreement and necessary updates
  • Promotion of internal communication & a good project dynamic, including the organisation of contractual meetings
  • Assistance in defining the strategic orientation of the project with respect to project objectives, interests of the participants and their contractual rights and obligations
  • Assistance “as neutral partner” in decision making and conflict resolution
  • Identification of deviations and necessary corrective actions (for both financial and technical matters)

ALMA will also be a permanent contact point for the Coordinator and the project participants on administrative and financial matters.

 

Key people involved in the project

 

Julie Chupin is graduated in Master in Management and Business Administration. She has a solid experience in the missions related to the coordination of FP6 and FP7 European projects for companies of different size and in several technological domains. Her experience allowed her to assure the coordination of the global missions for large companies in France and other international countries. She is currently in charge of realizing missions of audit and consulting on the clients R&D activities: Consortium and European funds management. Patricia Kudelka a Natural Science degree and European Management degree; Patricia is trilingual: French, English, Polish.  She has been working in Alma since 2004 on more than 20 FP6 & FP7 projects setting-up, negotiation and coordination of  ICT and NMP thematic’ large scale projects and soon will be coordinator of Supporting  Action (SSA) in Security.
